We brought back our signature mulled wine for the holiday season and decided to update our recipe for 2016! You can stop by our tasting room or our on-site restaurant Annata Bistro/Bar for delicious hot glass, or use this recipe to make your own at home. The best part is, it's incredibly easy to make.
1 Bottle Shorty’s Bistro Red Wine
1/4 of a Bottle Limited Reserve Port
1/4 of a Bottle of Mont Noir Dessert Wine
3/4 of a Cup Brown sugar 2 Sticks of Cinnamon
4-5 Whole Cloves
2 Orange Wedges
1 Pinch of Allspice
1/2 Pinch of Nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in large crockpot, turn to medium or low heat, and heat for at least one hour. Remove the orange wedges before serving, and enjoy. If you aren't serving that day, be sure to strain spices before storing. Be sure to refrigerate, but don't freeze.
