Kyanti is created in the Chianti Classico style using a minimum 75% Sangiovese as the blend and has become a favorite at Mount Palomar. This wine has heady scents of carnations and allspice with hints of sweet mint and anise. The flavors are full and spicy with tastes cherry, green apple, pomegranate and a touch of raspberry. It is an easy to drink wine that pairs with rich chicken dishes, red sauces, and lighter beef dishes.
Aged for 40 months in American and French oak barrels.
