Award winning wine! Mount Palomar was the first grower of Sangiovese in the Temecula Valley. The 2013 Sangiovese is complex with tastes of strawberry, boysenberry, plum, Bartlett pear, cloves, and pipe tobacco.
Meritage is a classic blend of at least three traditional Bordeaux grape varieties used to achieve a well balanced, complex wine. Our 2013 Meritage has floral scents of chrysanthemum and rose with spicy cherry, currants and orange zest. The wine is full in the mouth with tastes of plum, tart cherry, orange peel, hints of cinnamon, and a earthy undertone.
