Petite Sirah….its name belies its true character. There is nothing “petite” about this wine! The 2016 Mount Palomar Petite Sirah is dark, bold and brimming with aromas of blackberry, elderberry, blueberry and plum.
Returning once more after a long absence, we are happy to announce a limited bottling of our 2014 Cabernet Franc! This wine is at a very interesting point in its developmental arc and we are excited to share this wine with our Wine Club members this month! Cabernet Franc is a heritage Bordeaux varietal and is known to have a lighter, softer tannin structure compared to its offspring, Cabernet Sauvignon. Our 2014 release is redolent of raspberry, currants, red bell pepper, and nutmeg on both the nose and on the palate. We recommend pairing this wine with grilled, smoky fajitas and rich mole sauces! Cheers!
Strumming along with subtle notes of Cranberry, smoke, and lavender, our 2014 Troubadour is a kind of leather jacket wearing red blend composed mostly of Petit Verdot and Tannat.
Dried flowers, dried red fruits, leather, vanilla and anise.
Charbono originated in the mountainous area between France and Italy. It requires a long growing season that pushes the limits in its homeland. However with a similar altitude and our short winters, the varietal thrives in Temecula. The 2014 Charbono is softly scented with strawberry, cherry, plum, mandarin orange, sweet spice and sage.
Formerly known as “Shorty’s Bistro Red,” our Bistro Red is medium bodied with smoky tastes of Mandarin orange, strawberry, plum, sour cherry, with spicy hints of chocolate and sweet chili.
