Premium Red Wine
Award-winning wine! Charbono is rarely grown in California or in its homeland in Savoy where it can be difficult to ripen properly. Temecula’s extended growing season is perfect for producing this very temperamental varietal. The nose is very fragrant with violets, carnation, lily, persimmon, red currants, cherry, and Mexican hot chocolate.
This wine has tastes of mandarin orange, sour cherry, currants, Granny Smith Apples, soft spice, and hints of boysenberry. Charbono is easy to drink and pairs well with poultry, pork and mild red meat dishes
Aged for 40 months in American and French oak barrels.
